Cambodia: Between War and Peace

Directed by Rithy Panh, 64min, 1991, Khmer version with French subtitles

The action takes place after the signing of the 1991 Paris Peace Agreement, at the time of the return of prince Norodom Sihanouk in Cambodia. The documentary follows the traces of the horrors, and the physical and mental scars left by the Khmer Rouge. It also displays the return of peace and gives a voice to young people who wonder about their future and the future of Cambodia.
