Water is an essential part of any ecosystem and biodiversity. In Cambodia, most populations in rural areas do not have access to adequate sanitation and safe drinking water. In the dry season, the people are facing a serious water crisis caused by the way in which mismanages water resources.

In Cambodia, the German Red Cross has partnered with the Cambodian Red Cross to assist vulnerable populations. The German Red Cross has provided a great deal of assistance to the Cambodian Red Cross to carry out community activities. Some people living in Kampong Speu, Kampong Chhnang, Pursat province received fund and supports like toilets, good water, and other benefits.
