Three hundred years after the Flood,​ three clans tear apart: the clan of Jacob and his sons, who raise livestock; the clan of nomadic hunters led by Esaü; the clan of farmers led by Hamor. Esaü the hunter is fuelled by hate since his younger brother stole from him his birthright. Enclosed in his campement, Jacob (role playedd by the great actor Sotiguy Kouyaté) mourns his favorite son Joseph.
