May 20, it’s the National Day of Remembrance. To commemorate the memory, this Saturday, the Bophana Center will present you two documentary films that will make you even more aware that, “How important is the historical memory for the present?”

– “Asia in view: Facing Khmer Rouge Atrocities, Cambodia’s search for truth” Directed by Rui Miyashita, 28min, 2011, Khmer and English version, with English subtitles
– “Memory and the Image, a Cambodian experience” Directed by Franco Lolli Gomez, 26min, 2007, Khmer version

The films will air on the Bophana Center Facebook page on Saturday, May 23, 2020 from 5pm onwards. You can watch the live streaming from anywhere or in your own house.
