Lecture “Evacuation of Phnom Penh in 1975”

François Ponchaud was 26 years old and newly ordained when he arrived in Cambodia in 1965. When Phnom Penh fell to the Khmer Rouge on 17 April 1975, Ponchaud was there . François Ponchaud was one of the last foreigners to leave Cambodia in May following the Khmer Rouge takeover on 17 April 1975. In this lecture, he will deliver what he had witnessed while Phnom Penh was being emptied by the
Khmer Rouge.
