Mekong the Mother highlights the state of play of fisheries stock and exhibits vividly the lives on the Mekong River. The film is part of the Mekong River Commission’s on-going campaign to increase awareness on Mekong issues. Main aim is to stress the need for strong regional cooperation in order to manage more efficiently the natural resources for a total population of 60 million living there.
