Mekong the Mother highlights the state of play of fisheries stock and exhibits vividly the lives on the Mekong River. The film was produced in the framework of a campaign created by the Mekong River
Commission to increase awareness on Mekong issues. Main aim is to stress the need for strong regional cooperation in order to manage more efficiently the natural resources for a total population of 60 million living there.
