The Ballade for Khmer people

After the Khmer Rouge genocide,Cambodia had to start again from scratch. Everything had to be done all over again. The ancestral and varied culture of his country had almost disappeared. Nowadays, Cambodia remains one of the most aid-dependent countries in the world and nearly half of the population is under 15 years. The documentary invites us to travel all around this country, to discover its culture, meet its children and the NGOs which together are trying really hard to rebuild the many sides of Khmer identity.
