During the Sangkum Reastr Niyum era, Mr. Sin Sokhom studied until the seventh grade. In 1967, he dropped out. During the 1970 coup d’état, he was 23 years old. In the Khmer Rouge regime, he was assigned to climb palm trees and teach the Old People how to climb palm trees. Then he was assigned to sow rice and fish. During the harvest season, he was required to harvest at least 75 bags of rice a day.
