Mr. Chhum Ros is 66 years old and currently lives in Siem Reap. In the Khmer Rouge, he worked in transplanting seedlings in paddy fields in a mobile unit. Sometimes the Khmer Rouge ordered him to play traditional music for their shows. He explained life at that time was extremely difficult because he had to do heavy works, while the food was insufficient.
