Forgotten and hidden under a rainforest for hundreds of years, Baphuon is one of the first monuments of the famous city of Angkor to be excavated in the early 20th century. It took a century of restoration for this “mountain temple” to reveal the extraordinary ingenuity and sophistication of the Khmer civilization. A century of construction punctuated by the often tragic episodes of Cambodian history. A century of uncertainty, but also determination by a handful of researchers and workers.
This story is about a love triangle between Kosal, Sophea and Charya. Kosal loves Sophea but his mother refuses their love story, she wants her son to marry Charya: the daughter of a rich family. Sophea and Charya, both have good characters and love him. It’s a hard choice for Kosal. How will he solve this problem?
Rattanak had an accident in the forest and was then saved by the Phy family living nearby. He falls in love with Phy, a cute and dumb young girl. By jealousy, Phen who also loves Phy, keeps annoying Rattanak. Rattanak decides to bring Phy along with him to Phnom Penh. But her mother and sister do not agree with their love and treat her badly.
