In Cambodia, there are banknotes, both local and foreign, on which are drawn conventional series of letters and numbers, sometimes combined with characters from an esoteric and spectacular alphabet – the ន ខ្វាក់ na khvāk’ – or with elements of a divinatory numeral system – the លេខអត្តៈ lekh atta: – to constitute the amulets called ក្រដាសប្រាក់យ័ន្ត kradās’prāk’yănt.
