This film report captures Phnom Penh before its revitalization as a depopulated city with outdated infrastructure. The film displays a traumatized populace seeking to unite after the departure of the Khmer Rouge.
The sport is reborn, the hospital reopens its doors and takes care of the sick, people circulate in the streets, the family regroups its members, the market is put back in place, the school gives classes to children who are also taught notions of communism and socialism.
