The Bophana Center organizes “Cambodia’s Bird Exhibition” from May 16th to June 30th, 2024 at the Center. This exhibition shows the amazing work of Mr. Suy Senglim, the founder of the Bird of Cambodia Education and Conservation (BCEC), established in March 2012. The aim of BCEC as well the exhibition is to raise awareness about birds and wildlife species and to engage Cambodians to love the natural heritage and wildlife. This is happening through pictures taken in different parts of Cambodia as well as its neighboring countries.
In addition, all images taken at the event will be compiled into scientific books to be distributed to libraries and other interested parties in Cambodia in the future.
You are more than welcome to join us at the opening ceremony of this exhibition on May 16th, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. Mr. Suy Senglim will be present too and will share important knowledge about Cambodia’s birds, bird ecology, and their habitats’ characteristics. Further you can learn a bit on how to photograph animals in their natural habitats and to understand the behavior of wildlife in Cambodia, especially wild birds. We hope to see you!
