This film series covers the first Khmer Rouge trial at the ECCC in Phnom Penh (2009–2010), focusing on Kaing Guek Eav, alias “Duch,” who ran the S-21 interrogation center. Hosted by Neth Pheaktra and Ung Chan Sophea, the episodes summarize the weekly court proceedings, including testimonies from survivors and guards, Duch’s own statements, legal arguments from prosecution and defense, and expert commentary on justice and accountability in Cambodia.
