Directed by Sally Ingleton, 1993, 52 min, Original version with English subtitles
Under Pol Pot’s regime over 90% of Cambodia’s artists were killed, including most of the classical dancers of the Royal Court Ballet. Only one in ten survived. Em They, one of a few surviving dancers, returned to Phnom Penh to rebuild the classical dance troop after the fall of the Khmer Rouge.
