“Alive Skin” tells the story of a young man named Heng AN, an artist of shadow puppetry. He explains how to create traditional leather puppets, demonstrates how to use them in shadow plays, and shares his reasons for continuing this art. This form of artistry is rarely seen today, prompting Heng AN to share his work with the next generation to help preserve traditional Khmer culture.
