A Symposium in Khmer and English

Presented as part of Rates of Exchange, Uncompared: Contemporary Art in Bangkok and Phnom Penh, a six-month series of residencies, exhibitions and gatherings curated by Roger Nelson and Brian Curtin.

This symposium presents four perspectives on contemporary art in Bangkok, a city renowned for its dynamic creative community. Artists Pinaree Sanpitak, Orawan Arunrak and Tada Hengsapkul will each speak on their own practices, while curators Gridthiya Gaweewong and Brian Curtin will introduce a wider temporal and geographical context. Moderated by Phnom Penh-based curator Roger Nelson, audience questions and comments are encouraged, and refreshments are provided.
