Saroeun returns to the village after a long absence. Indeed, these last two years he worked as a slave in a fishing boat in Sihanouk province after being betrayed by a man who sold him. He escaped from the boat by swimming. With his family’s support, he files a lawsuit against the fishing boat owner. In a meeting with the investigating judge, he describes life on the sea of workers who never see the land.
