Bophana Audiovisual Resource Center is honored to host the launch of the English-language book The Quiet Native, a collection of short reflections on the Cambodian homeland by Cambodian author Sereyvong Jason Chhinlim.The Quiet Native is a memoir that calls upon Cambodian youth to reconnect with their roots, while encouraging international readers from around the world to see Cambodia through a native lens. The book blends humor with a deep commitment to preserving Khmer culture, serving as a powerful tribute to the enduring Khmer spirit.

In parallel with the book launch, the event will also feature a brief presentation and a small exhibition showcasing a variety of collectible items related to Khmer culture, heritage, history, and traditions, adding extra flavor for visitors to discover the richness and beauty of Cambodia’s past.
