Calling all Phnom Penh filmmakers and designers!

The workshop on Creating Motion Graphics in After Effects is free and open to all, no prior experience necessary.

It will be giving a broad introduction to the software, with some discussion of animation techniques, blending, text creation, useful expressions, scripts, 3D tools and animation parameters for text that will help in creating opening titles, bumpers, logos, and credits. The workshop will also have some discussion of other possibilities in After Effects for visual effects, keying, matte painting, animation, and color grading.

So if participant can bring a laptop with After Effects on it, or can follow along. If not, you can still listen and practice at home. Bring a mac-compatible hard drive or SD card if you’d like some practice materials. There is a free 30-day trial of AE available from Adobe’s website.
