Royal Ballet ‘Preah Thong and Neang Neak‘

Royal ballet “PREAH THONG and NEANG NEAK” was written by the Queen SISOWATH KOSSOMAK NEARY ROTH in 1960s. In 2003, a new interpretation of the performance was put in place by Samdech Preah Reach Bottrey Preah Ream NORODOM BUPPHA DEVI, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts. The name of “Preah Thong and Neang Neak” is known as typical traditional ceremony for Khmer wedding. Why this appellation for wedding? The film will show us why Cambodian people use these names for the wedding and how Preah Thong and Neang Neak met each other.
