Every year, a huge number Cambodian people illegally move to Thailand to work via intermediaries. Those “brokers” charge them a high commission to go to Thailand saying that it is a land of opportunities. Instead, they are trapped in a situation of slavery: no wages paid, deprivation of liberty and private life, sexual assault, drugs, tortures… The film focuses on a sad reality of modern slavery.

A man promise to a girl that she will get married to a rich Chinese man. In reality, this swindler sold her to China. The dream is over. She is treated as a slave: no salary, sexual violence… the fear push her to go back to her homeland. Alone and pregnant, how would her life be?
