In the Dark is a feature length film drama dealing with the issues of human trafficking and child labor in Cambodia. When a young provincial girl Kulikar unwittingly becomes a victim of human trafficking, her brother Dan sets out on a rescue mission to find her. As shoe shine boy Dara and flower seller Malise hear their story, they are unaware that they too face the temptation of being lured into child labor.
