Mekong the Mother highlights the state of play of fisheries stock and vividly portrays life on the Mekong River. The film is part of the Mekong River Commission’s ongoing campaign to increase awareness on Mekong issues. The main aim is to stress the need for strong regional cooperation in order to manage the natural resources more efficiently for a total population of 60 million living there.
