Lake of Life

Mrs. Long Kunthear lives at Choeung Ek lake. Her family has been growing morning-glory and water-spinach at that lake since 1995. Mrs. Long Kunthear has seen the lake evolve from a simple source of water to the biggest vegetable supplier of Phnom Penh. But now, this crucial lake is almost gone due to the rapid city development. This presents the whole family with a challenge: Three generations (Mrs. Long Kunthear, her parents, and her children) make their livings by growing vegetables and are now facing losing their jobs.
