The film shows refugees living at the Thai border. Large numbers of Cambodians suffered because of the war against the genocidal regime of Pol Pot. They lost their families, relatives, and friends. Many had life-threatening experiences.

In refugee camps on the Thai border, Red Cross volunteers help victims of the Khmer Rouge regime by providing them with food, medicine, and medical treatment.
