This is a remarkable film that makes you laugh and leaves you thinking. The Berlin wall completely cut off West Berlin from surrounding East Germany and from East Berlin until it was opened in November 1989. A young German man pretends to his mother that the Berlin Wall has not fallen, in the fear that the shock of the news will kill her.
