Uncle Sou Khou’s ethnicity is Tampuan Indigenous. The elderly man lives in Kachun Krom village, Ratanakiri province. Every day, he regrets not going to school and studying hard when he was young. His family was poor, and his parents needed him to work in the fields with them. When he grew older and got married, his life was not well. He had no specific job and couldn’t find a place to work. Despite these difficulties, he highly values his family and encourages his children not to follow in his footsteps but to study and go to school.
