Behind the Gate

Directed by Jean Baronnet, 2003, 52mins with French version

This documentary recounts the story of FRANCOIS BIZOT, a Frenchman arrested by the Khmers Rouges in 1971. He was prisoner in a camp and was finally liberated after 3 months of captivity, thanks to the intervention of Duch, who will later be in charge of the notorious prison of Tuol Sleng (S21). The film portrays the complex relationship that these two men shared.
