Cambodian Error

Directed Bernard George, 51min, 2000, Khmer version

On April 17, 1975, the Khmer Rouge captured Phnom Penh and toppled the Lon Nol regime. Jean Lacouture, a journalist specializing in Indo-China, was one of those who supported this revolutionary movement, before announcing his errors on television. He now returns to talk about the history of Cambodia during that period, with archive images.
