Based on the report entitled “Enough Already! Colombia: Memories of War and Dignity” published by the Colombian Historical Memory Center, No time for Sadness gives an overview of the armed conflict that has been raging for over 50 years in Colombia and shows how people managed to survive during this long period of violence.
The documentary will be introduced by Adriana Escobar, a Colombian PhD student at the École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, whose work focuses on the memorial issues in Cambodia.
We would like to thank the National Historical Memory Center for giving us the permission to screen this interesting documentary.
