Mrs. Rin Prich currently lives in Phnom Trong Bat village, Pong Thkov commune, Kralanh district, Siem Reap province. Before the Khmer Rouge came to power, her mother had sent her to work as a maid for people in Battambang province. She did not go to school because she had to work full-time. When she was 13 years old, the Khmer Rouge arrived in her village which was intensely bombed. The Khmer Rouge executed both parents by accusing them of being Khmer Surin.
