Rice Wine

Summary

Ms. Kil Davy lives in La Oeun Chorng village, O’Chum commune, O’Chum district, Ratanakiri province. She continues to make this rice wine because it is part of the traditional culture of the Tampuan people who always drink this wine in village ceremonies and when family relatives come to visit.

Biography

I am Kil Saena (Miss), of the Tampuan indigenous people, and I live in La’En Chorng village, O’Chum commune, O’Chum district in Ratanakiri province. I had the opportunity to attend the training with Bophana Center under the project “Capacity Building for Indigenous Youth and Indigenous Audiovisual Establishment in Cambodia Through WIKIMEDIA”, and  produced this documentary film about Tampuan cultural identity, entitled “Rice Wine”.
