39. Ms. Chey Savin and Mrs. Mak
Place: Siem Reap
Mrs. Mak has five children. During the Khmer Rouge, she worked as a rice farmer and did transplanting, but later the Khmer Rouge put her in charge of husking rice. It was then that she discovered many holes of dead people killed by Khmer Rouge. She did not stay with her husband because he had to work at a place far away, and in several months, he came home once. Later, her husband became ill and died. After the Khmer Rouge, his son joined with the government as a soldier.
